Summary and Uses: Roy moves from Montana to Florida and has a hard time fitting in and finds himself involved in another boy's attempt to save a colony of burrowing owls from a proposed construction site. One use for this book in a classroom is having students read this in small groups. This book can be used as a large conversation piece because this book addresses many issues that happen in the school setting such as bullying.
